David Kobrine, ASA, MAAA, EA / President

David Kobrine is president and founder of Pension Benefits Unlimited, Inc. whose primary responsibilities include plan consulting, design, implementation and new business development.David is an actuary with over 30 years experience in all types of qualified plans, including defined benefit pension, cash balance, money purchase pension, 401(k), profit sharing and employee stock ownership plans. A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, David holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, Member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and is an Enrolled Actuary. David is a frequent speaker at industry related seminars and workshops and has been an instructor for the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

Robert Kobrine, EA / Vice President

Robert Kobrine, vice president and actuary, is a founding principal of Pension Benefits Unlimited, Inc. Robert has been in the pension business since 1986 in the implementation and consulting for both defined contribution and defined benefit plans, including cash balance, money purchase pension, 401(k) and profit sharing plans. Robert earned a B.A. degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a Member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, ASPPA College of Pension Actuaries and is an Enrolled Actuary. When not working on retirement programs, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter.  Robert is usually recovering from a running injury due to his annual pursuit to qualify for the Boston Marathon, which he has completed annually since 2005.

Kelly Manning, QKA / Senior Consultant

Kelly Manning, a senior administrative consultant, joined Pension Benefits Unlimited, Inc. in 1995 and has been in the pension consulting profession since 1989. Kelly earned a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. She is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and has earned the organization’s Qualified 401(k) Administration (QKA) professional designation. Kelly has served on the Executive Board of Directors for Newport Harbor Baseball Association, Costa Mesa Pop Warner and Newport Harbor High School Boys Soccer Boosters.

Margaret Martinazzi, QKA / Senior Consultant

Margaret Martinazzi joined Pension Benefits Unlimited, Inc. as a consultant in 1996 and has been in the pension consulting business since 1988. A graduate of the University of Idaho, Margaret holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration. She is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, and has earned the organization’s Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) professional designation. Margaret is also an active member of the Western Pension & Benefits Council (WP&BC) and currently serves on the board of directors for the Orange County Chapter as well as the WP&BC Governing Board.

Angie joined Pension Benefits Unlimited, Inc. in 2015. A graduate of Cornell University, Angie double majored in Mathematics and Economics before earning her Master’s Degree in Education. Angie has over 10 years of experience with pension and actuarial consulting and administration. Angie is also a frequent volunteer and speaker for the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and currently serves on the executive leadership of the American Society of Enrolled Actuaries (ASEA).

Diane Clark, ERPA / Senior Consultant

Diane Clark joined Pension Benefits Unlimited, Inc. in 2016 as a Senior Administrative Consultant. She has been working with qualified retirement plans since 1985 – both as a corporate administrator and as a consultant. Diane is an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA), authorized to practice before the IRS, and is a member of the Western Pension & Benefits Council (WP&BC).

Jeff Crowder, QKA / Consultant

Andrew Garcia / Consultant

Andrew has been working in the retirement and pension industry since 1998. He has extensive knowledge in multiple aspects of defined contribution plans, from plan design to plan terminations. He is experienced in compliance testing, trust accounting, development of plan documents, and preparation of 5500 forms. Andrew is well versed in client communication and education. In his spare time Andrew enjoys mountain and beach activities with his family, coaching little league, and is a Volkswagen enthusiast.

Michael has a degree in Mathematical Decision Sciences and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Kristy Lamers / Consultant

Kristy joined Pension Benefits Unlimited, Inc. in 2024 and has been involved in all aspects of pension administration since 1998 including as a financial advisor. A graduate of Mount Mary University, Kristy holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors hunting, fishing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Dylan Bollard / Consultant

Dylan Bollard joined Pension Benefits Unlimited , Inc. in 2024. He has been in the pension industry since 2020, specializing in small employer plans. He holds two separate degrees from Portland State University, a B.S. in Quantitative Economics, and a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Philosophy. He is also nearly finished with his master’s degree in economics from Portland State University as well. He is a member of the Western Pension & Benefits Council (WP&BC) and serves on the board for the City of Beaverton mayor’s office in an advisory capacity on economic issues.

Susie Wiley joined PBU in 2009 and has over 23 years of pension experience. As the Director of Operations for a national pension firm, she has been involved in all aspects of pension plans; from plan design, plan administration and consulting to cultivating alliance partner relationships with financial institutions in order to provide full service administration to Plan Sponsors.Susie received her BS degree from the University of California, Irvine and received her MBA from Pepperdine University.
